Issue Types
Issue types help you organize and manage your team's work by categorizing tasks. This makes it easier to keep track of progress, see how quickly your team fixes bugs, and complete big projects.
Each project template includes default issue types designed to fit your team's needs, but you can customize them to match your preferred way of working. We offer suggested issue types for common methods like agile software development or IT service management. You can use these defaults or create your own to best suit your projects.
Managing Global and Custom Issue Types in Orufy Projects
Global Issue Types
Global issue types are available across all projects, allowing for consistent issue categorization across your organization.
- Access Global Issue Types:
- Go to the Projects Dashboard in Orufy Projects.
- Click on Settings and then select Global Issue Type.
- Add a New Global Issue Type:
- Click on Add New Issue Type.
- Enter the Name of the issue type.
- Choose a Color to visually distinguish this issue type.
- Click Create to finalize and add the new issue type.
- Edit or Delete Global Issue Types:
- You can also edit existing global issue types or delete them if they are no longer needed.
