Utilizing Location Cards for Visitor's Location
The Location card serves as a convenient tool to retrieve the visitor's current location using the GPS on their device. Here's how you can add and utilize a Location card:
Accessing Card Options:
- Click the cardholder icon (+) to access the card gallery, then select the Location card.
Card Configuration:
- Provide a name and text for the Location card.
- Customize the card by adding images as per your requirements.
Saving Configuration:
- Once the card is configured, click Save to implement it in your flow.
Handling Location Data:
- You can save the location obtained from the visitor using the bot's context or visitor field, allowing for further processing or action based on this data.
Channel Compatibility and Limitations:

WhatsApp: The Location card is supported in WhatsApp and operates similarly to the website. Visitors can share their location using the "share location/GPS" feature in WhatsApp, capturing the location in SalesIQ.

Facebook and Instagram: These platforms do not support the Location card directly. However, you can handle it alternatively using the criteria router. For example, create a condition based on the channel type (e.g., If the channel is Facebook or Instagram), and use the visitor fields card to manually obtain the location from the user.
Example Use Case:
