Integrating ChatGPT with Connect
Access Connect Settings
- Log in to your Connect dashboard and navigate to the settings.
Navigate to Chat Settings
- Within the settings menu, locate and click on "Chat Settings".
- Under Chat Settings, choose ChatGPT as the integration option.
Generate API Keys from OpenAI
- Open a web browser and go to https://platform.openai.com (opens in a new tab).
- Log in to your OpenAI account or sign up if you don't have one.
- Navigate to https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys (opens in a new tab).
- Click on the "Create new Secret Key" button to generate API Keys.
Integrate API Key with Connect
- After generating the API Keys, return to the Connect dashboard.
- Enter the API Key provided by OpenAI into the appropriate field in Connect.
Toggle Settings
- Toggle buttons are available to turn on/off specific settings for ChatGPT.
Expand Text
- Click on "Expand" to elaborate the text message with more information. This provides an expanded version of the text input.
- Click on "Use," and the expanded text will be automatically pasted into the message box, ready to send to the visitor.
Rephrase Text
- Click on "Rephrase" to rewrite the text message in a more understandable format.
- Click on "Use," and the rephrased text will be automatically pasted into the message box, ready to send to the visitor.
Enhance Tone
- Click on "Enhance Tone" to change the tone of your message to professional, casual, or friendly.
Summarize Text

Click on "Summarize" to review the shortened or condensed text message. This provides a summarized version of the input text.

Clicking on "Summarize" automatically adds the summarized text to the note section.
